All of us have beauty tips that we’ve picked up along the way that have helped us out in a pinch or have provided beauty relief in a new or previously undiscovered way.  Extending makeup wear is a popular subject as most of us are dashing from place to place with little time to fuss with our makeup all day. Look pretty as a plum all day long with these quick tips!

1. If you suffer from runny eye makeup change to waterproof liquid liner for extended stay put power and all day wear with no re-application.
2. For all day wear lashes that can last through the office, to the gym and then out to dinner waterproof mascara is your best friend. It will stay put all day and doesn’t require touch up.
3. Lip stain is perfect for extended wear. Unlike lipstick which is topical, lip stain will actually stain your lip with a light pigment that will last much longer than traditional lip gloss or lip stick. In a pinch, use your lip stain as blush that too will stay in place all day
4. Use primer before applying your foundation and your makeup will look better and stay much longer
5. And finally, if you have oily skin, don’t reapply makeup all day, blot it with oil absorbing blotting linen. In a pinch, tear off a piece of a ladies room seat cover and blot away
