If you are a fan of Jane Iredale’s Liquid Minerals but just wished it had more coverage, your wish has been granted! This Beauty Balm has all the benefits of Jane’s 12 times micronized, or ground down, pure minerals in a liquid with medium to full coverage.
Foundation that acts like a treatment. It gently exfoliates, diminishes wrinkles, won’t clog pores, and soothes skin, all while moisturizing. And it’s great for all skin types.
You’ll love the glow you get using this foundation. Start your layering right with
Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Facial Primer and Brightener. Both of these minimize the appearance of pores, will give you a smooth finish and are incredibly anti-aging. They don’t call it “The Skin Care Make-Up” for nothin’!
This long-wearing make-up will have people asking “what are you doing with your skin?” “It looks so good!”
Are you looking like you just came from an all-night party? Puffy eyes with some dark circles and fine lines showing the cracks in your make-up? Well, brighten up! Dr. Perricone has made a skin-usable Vitamin C Ester Eye Serum that delivers! The formulation doesn’t dissipate once it’s applied to the skin. Just smooth this silky liquid over the eye area for firmer, brighter, younger-looking eyes.
Oh, and BONUS, this serum is also amazing on the fine lines around your mouth. I noticed INSTANT, yes I said instant, improvement when I just put a drop of this on those pesky fine lines starting to creep in on my upper lip. Lines eradicated (happy dance). Since I saw that, I decided to put it on my whole mouth. My lips became plumper, more defined and softer. I almost love it more as a lip treatment than for the eyes. But it’s great for both.
Yet another benefit, it pairs really well with the Perricone MD High Potency Eye Lift. If you need an eye lift and were going to buy just that product by itself, it will run you $98.00. However, you can get both full- size products in the Perricone MD Eye Lift Synergy Kit for the same price! Score!
I have to admit, the name of this cleanser didn’t exactly call my name. But after I tried it I decided I wanted to know more. Dragon’s Blood is actually a red resin that comes from a flowering plant native to South America. Not actual blood from a dragon. Good enough for me.
The first thing I noticed about this liquid cleansing water was the fresh, clean, light smell of roses. This is not the smell of your grandma’s rose scented lotion. Oh, no no. This is a breath of fresh air.
Next I realized you don’t have to rinse it off! You heard me right! No rinsing. What a time-saver! After a long day you can now come home, put a pump of this on a cotton round and take all your make-up off, without having to drown yourself at the sink rinsing your regular cleanser down the drain. It just dries by itself. Easy-peasy.
Lastly, I noticed the plumping effect it had on my skin. Plumper skin looks firmer. It’s a nice little trick. You can super-charge that effect by using the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Tonic with it. Hyaluronic acid locks in moisture and will revive your skin. It also sets mineral makeup. You can check out the entire line here.
Want an anti-aging moisturizer disguised as sun protection? You got it here with Hampton Sun SPF 15 Hydrating Face Cream. Anyone that has used sun protection knows that a good one can be hard to find. They can feel heavy, smell bad and/or go on too white. Not Hampton Sun. This oil-free, fragrance-free formulation with Zinc is as light as they come. Typically products with Zinc can be very heavy so I was impressed to learn that not only is Zinc, my preferred form of sunscreen for its instant efficacy and healing qualities, the sun protection but it’s choked full of antioxidants. Antioxidants fight free radicals that cause damage and aging.
That alone would grab my attention but it also contains ginger, an antioxidant that Increases radiance, decreases inflammation, cucumber strengthens connective tissue, relieves redness, aloe and chamomile to soothe, seaweed firms skin, gingko biloba helps with sun damage repair. Not only do I love it for its ingredients, I also love it for what’s not in it like parabens and PABA.
This power-house product is going to be great for all skin types but especially those with normal/combination to oily.
In a world where skin care products are so specialized, it can be a bit confusing knowing what to look for and which ones will work best for you. Not to fear, your answer is here! Half the battle is knowing what skin type you have. To make it simple, we’ll discuss the three most common types.
Dry skin is generally characterized by smaller pores on and around the nose and forehead. This type of skin needs the most moisture. Under moisturized, dry skin can experience some oiliness when it needs hydration. Overly dry skin will work harder to produce the oil it craves, once properly hydrated, the oil subsides. Rough patches and flakiness can be exfoliated away with a scrub or peel. Extremely dry or inflamed skin can be calmed with products containing soothing ingredients such as chamomile.
What to look for: Creams rich in oils, such as Jojoba and Avocado, Glycerin, Lanolin and Shea Butter.
What to avoid: AHA’s and BHA’s with high concentrations. Acids typically make the skin drier.
Pevonia Botanica is a great line for dry skin. Formulated with botanicals and gentle ingredients, this line is wonderful at hydrating and protecting delicate skin. For a glimpse into the regimen, you might try the Pevonia Your Skincare Solution Dry Skin Pack.
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum are amazing for strengthening and hydrating dry skin. Just squeeze open one little capsule and you will see and feel a difference!
For mature dry skin Tensage Advanced Cream offers hydration, collagen building, and wrinkle softening.
The most common type of skin is combination. Skin that is combination will have medium to large pores on the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin. This skin tends to see some oil in the T-zone and is drier on the cheeks. Balancing the combo type can be tricky. Sometimes using two types of products can be most effective. Such as using dry skin products on the cheeks and products for oily skin on the forehead, nose and chin. When unbalanced, you will see congestion, black or whiteheads and occasional breakouts.
What to look for: Gentle cleansers, oil-free hydrators, spot treatments, balancing products.
What to avoid: Super-moisturizing oils, soap–based cleansers, waxes that can clog skin, Alcohols.
Vichy Neodovial GF Skin for Normal to Combination Skin will help firm the jawline and reduce the appearance of fine lines! This moisturizer is richer in texture so it’s perfect for winter months.
Need a pick me up? Jurlique’s Rosewater Balancing Mist will not only balance your skin with the scent of fresh roses. It will also set mineral make-up! Can be used just in the morning or all day as a refresher.
H2O Plus Face Oasis Cleansing Water is an ultra-foaming, oil free, liquid cleanser that will work wonderfully with a cleansing brush to help balance out combination skin.
Oily skin tends to have larger pores throughout the T-Zone and cheeks. It’s most common for this type to be blemish-prone, however all types can experience pore congestion such as black or whiteheads and breakouts. Controlling oil and acne are the main concerns for oily skin. Moisturizers and foundations with a matte finish will help to keep shine at bay. Acids will help exfoliate, heal blemishes and kill bacteria. Keep in mind, over-use of acids can strip the skin making it too dry resulting in an over-production of oil to compensate which can create more breakouts. Over time, the use of oil-free moisturizer will help balance hyper-active oil glands and bring skin back to manageability. Using an enzyme exfoliant 2-3 times a week is also an effective way to keep skin cells turning over and clear acne.
What to look for: Salicylic Acid (BHA). gel formulations, Benzoyl Peroxide, Glycolic Acid (AHA), and matte finish products.
What to avoid: Scrubs with beads than can infect and spread acne bacteria, stripping the skin with too much acid.
Have oily skin that needs help with anti-aging as well as clearing acne? Suki Balancing Day Lotion boosts collagen synthesis, and calms inflammation. It’s a multi-tasking, age fighting moisturizer.
Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel is a peel that will help with acne scarring, fine lines and moisture. Pineapple and Papaya enzymes are natural exfoliants that will help smooth your skin without causing infection to existing acne.
Gel cleansers are ideal for oily skin. Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel is going to brighten, clarify and exfoliate all in one! Address fine lines and wrinkles while you do a deep pore cleanse and wash away dirt make-up and impurities.
When you hear the phrase “bring the spa home” this treatment truly fits the bill. You can give yourself an oxygen facial two times a day. Getting oxygen to your skin is helping it to breathe. It’s literally a breath of fresh air for your face! It will make you say Aaahhhh!
Just a few stripes of this lavender scented mist on each part of your face followed by a relaxing massage makes this quench a luxurious part of your day. You get hydration and a lift with smoother skin.
What I love about this is if you have normal/combination to oilier skin you can use it in place of a moisturizer. Check out these amazing before and after photos!

I’ve had three cups of black coffee this morning. I’m wide awake but my newly-bleached teeth are not so pearly white anymore. Stained, lackluster teeth are not in this season. Coffee breath isn’t very sexy, either. But I have no toothbrush, and I haven’t got mouthwash. I won’t smack my gum in the morning meeting with the boss. I will, however, call on the little tooth fairy that I hide in my drawer. Amidst the candies, business cards, paper clips, hides a box of GoSMILE Touch Up’s. These portable, single-dose ampoules work like a mid-day brush, specifically targeting the bacteria that cause bad breath and refreshing the entire mouth, these ampoules to help polish teeth after and between whitenings so teeth stay lustrous and pretty! And these handy dandy touch ups come in a wide array of flavors. Fresh Mint is a classic staple. Watermelon Mint is yummy and sweet, and Green Apple is tangy and sour. White teeth for everyone! Hoorah!
Product Junkies agree that the Topix Replenix Serum CF delivers! With proven anti-aging ingredients like Green Tea and Caffeine this lightweight, fast-absorbing, formula is great for oily skin as well as those with sensitivity such as rosacea.
This highly recommended serum was rated five out of five stars by our customers. They reported increased smoothness, less breakouts, reduction in pore size, improved clarity, texture and firmness. One reviewer writes “I am officially sold! This will be a product I will continue to use (day/night). If you’re browsing for that serum that does make a difference look no further. This is it!!!!”
Just smooth a pea-sized drop over your face, neck and décolleté morning and/or evening. It’s hydrating enough that you can even use it in place of moisturizer in the warmer months.
Many of our customers ask, “What is a peel and how do I know if I would benefit from one? “ Here are some helpful tips if you find yourself asking to peel or not to peel?
A peel is a deep exfoliation treatment that results in smoother, more even toned skin. Peels help address concerns such as lightening hyperpigmentation, fading acne spots and restoring radiance to dull, lackluster skin. Peels come in various forms and strength. Some are of liquid form and have high percentage active ingredients and are applied by and licensed esthetician or dermatologist. Others are thicker in texture, like a masque and are left on for a specified amount of time. Lastly, the easiest of use are peel pads that are swiped on the skin. Peels range in strength from mild to aggressive. The milder peels tend to have no down time and can be used at home. While more aggressive peels can result in temporary redness and flaking and are in office procedures.
Everyone can benefit from exfoliation. If the youngest, freshest skin cells are always on top you will have radiant, glowing skin. Plus, you maximize the effectiveness of your other skin care products when your skin is exfoliated. Without exfoliation your skin develops a layer of dead skin cells creating a “wax paper” effect not allowing your other skincare products to penetrate through.
Do start slow. Start at a low strength and leave on for a short time. You may be more sensitive the first few times, remember you can always build up later.
Do them at night, if possible. You’ll want to avoid sunlight after a peel. Fresh, baby cells are more likely to burn. If you must do a peel during the day, ALWAYS use an SPF before going outside. Sunlight can accelerate the effects of acids. Don’t risk over-exposure that may cause hyperpigmentation.
Do moisturize. You’ll want to put some hydration back in to your skin as some peels may be drying. Moisturizer will also help soothe your delicate new skin.
Don’t be afraid to say enough is enough. If you are experiencing any sensation that feels more than tolerable, take the peel off. You should feel the peel working, but it should not be so uncomfortable that you want to run for a fire extinguisher.
Don’t over-do it. Peeling should be 2-3 times a week at the most. If you tend to have more delicate skin or any sensitivity once a week is all you need. Peels should be alternated with your regular exfoliant product and not used on the same days.
